Director’s Statement
From August 2007 onwards, we had been following Mr Lu all over
I believe this is a story without an end because Mr Lu will keep planting trees. The most important of all is that this story would encourage people to plant trees and to improve our living environment. We should never underestimate any decisions as they may have unexpected impact on our lives!
【劇情大綱】
一個誓言要在北回歸線種滿樹的男人，盧銘世，因為一本書以及一趟譜羅旺斯之旅，讓他在嘉南平原展開至今長達九年的種樹計畫。
在執行過程中，有很多人給予協助支持，也有人認為他「吃飽閒著，做憨工！」但是盧銘世卻不在意的說：「愛著卡慘死，我執愛自然，所以我種樹。」
他相信這個世上沒有到不了的夢想，他也知道北回歸線種樹計畫，或許是這一代無法完成的夢想，但下一代可以繼續執行，重要的是一定要開始做。
只要有人願意做，一定會成功。
【喵導的話】
從2007年8月開始，我與工作團隊隨著盧銘世老師，長達半年的時間在嘉義市上山下海。對我們來說，這趟旅程已經超越拍片這件事，他讓我們所有人開始去思考也許有另一種生活方式的選擇。
我想這個故事可以一直說下去，因為盧老師的樹會一直種下去，但是更重要的是希望透過這個故事ㄝ讓更多人能夠開始實踐種樹計畫，開始改變你所居住的環境，不要輕忽「你的小決定，大大影響新可能喔！」
